Tree transplantation is the work that sets us apart. These are real relocations, on real sites, with the species and ages recorded — heritage giants and campus-scale jobs of dozens of trees at a time.
The method
The discipline that turns a risky move into a tree that re-leafs.
Survey the tree — species, age, health and the route out — and decide if it can be moved.
Crown-reduce and prepare the canopy so the tree can travel and recover with less stress.
Excavate around the roots and form a protected root-ball that keeps the critical roots intact.
Hydra cranes, JCBs and industrial machinery lift the tree clear without tearing the root-ball.
Move by trailer to the new location — across the city, the state or the country.
Re-plant, stake, irrigate and monitor. New leaves typically follow within weeks.
Selected relocations
A grand bargad of roughly two centuries, root-balled, lifted with cranes and a JCB, transported by trailer and re-established at a new site. New leaves followed — and the relocation was covered in the local press as among the first of its scale in the region.
Pruned for transit and moved through narrow city streets on a trailer marked Indore. Within about 30 days of transplantation, new leaves had initiated — the clearest possible sign the tree had taken to its new ground.
A campus-scale relocation of 120 trees of various species — including mature Peltophorum pterocarpum of around 40 years — moved within the IPCA Laboratories site so development and canopy could coexist.
Fifty-five trees of various varieties — including Mangifera indica — lifted and replanted across the LiuGong India campus, with new growth confirming successful establishment after the move.
Fifty trees — Peltophorum, Indian almond, Gulmohar and more, ranging from 10 to 30 years — transplanted across the Kriti Industries site as part of its green redevelopment.
Coconut palms of around 35 years and other mature trees relocated within the Sandoz campus in Digha, Navi Mumbai — proof that the method travels well beyond Madhya Pradesh.
Five date palms of around 30 years transplanted at the Sava Healthcare site — heavy, top-loaded specimens handled and re-staked for stability while they re-root.
Royal palm, Arjun and Peepal of 25–35 years moved and re-established at NLPL — guyed and irrigated, then watched as the canopies recovered.
In the press
The heritage-tree relocations carried out under the direction of the Choudhary Garden Services team drew local press coverage — recognised as among the first transplantation efforts of their scale in the area.
